i used 123greetings to try this and didn't get a single card opened; so i don't know..
maybe if you send less of them? there's no logic in that though.. i got 0 bucks off of my test run though haha.

Automation, but I originally started my first day doing 3000 by hand (about 300 cards) before getting frustrated. SO, I wrote a script to push out the ecards in small batches using proxies. So far getting about 1500 clicks a day with about 20% conversion....working out nicely actually

wow, so you should be making about $1000/day with a dating offer paying atleast $3/lead.

Nope, they're genderless as well through clever wording. I find my mind picks up on messages addressed to my name as being more formal, usually associated with spam or commercial in nature and friends or ''secret admirers'' usually dont call me by name, they just go "hey!" or some crap.... so I was betting it'd be realistic for the end users too...

I think that is very good advice! The more real a letter sounds the higher the conversion rate will be!

I've read the thread and the idea sounds interesting.
I plan to try it. But here is my question. For those affiliates like Fling and AFF who don't allow email marketing....won't they just shut down your account after a while and not pay you? That would be my fear in sending guys to sites like those.
What has been your experiences in that area?

I didn't say you COULDN'T use them. I say their terms of service don't allow for email marketing or spam. And while this is blackhat and sending out ecards is quite an interesting and unique way to get around that....I'd be afraid those companies wouldn't hesitate to shut you down if they get complaints. If people have found a way around that fear of mine....I'd love to hear it. And if what you are doing currently is working for you - great! - keep going. I'm just afraid to get an account shut down for a company that I might decide to push in the future in a more "ethical" manner.

Sorry but this script is not for sale. Like most of mine, its just a silly bash/perl/python script anyway, just enough to get a job done... i can't code in windows
I am considering selling a script/service in the near future however which can generate 3000~5000+ real visitors a day to your site instantly, but thats a topic for another time...(with moderator approval of course).

@canwedothis - gotcha! Yeah, I've been kinda worrying about the same thing. I'm a newb too and trying to figure out which way to go on all this stuff. All the reading...dude I'm goin blind over here and can't stop LOL. I may run with this for another day or two before I begin trying other methods.
