What is up with all the horrible spam postings on BHW?

1. Massive amount of posts = everyone knows your a spammer with bullshit service or scam even if this was not a marketing site.
2. Horrible English even worse than "engrish"
3. Same number for multiple countries they are targeting, also they are targeting countries where English isn't even the main language such as Italy and Kuwait
4. Spamming in an Asian language on an English website.(the later spam posts were this)

I've seen these kinds of postings on BHW as well as a few other forums over the years and it just doesn't make any sense. Not a single effort of any kind of quality is put in that kind of marketing your service.

Have you seen that "black magick love spell" forum spammer guy before? He's been hitting this forum as well as many others since about 2010 spamming some telephone numbers.

Its happened with baba, the indian guy and his shit, those spammers always choose this time to spam, where mods are offline

I don't know if I've seen that guy before but I do remember the prostitute one on here and a few others which had pretty much the same style of posting. So I was thinking the same guy or a crew of people that think that it works.

It would be great if these posts could automatically be filtered based on the keywords
Love, Baba ji..................................... Etc.

It's just annoying when you open up BHW & find a hell lot of these spammy posts on the index page.

I know right? I was looking to get a 昆特兰理 for really cheap near 大学毕业证, but the guy sharing that info got banned too!

I bet it's because it's near Basingstoke.

have also noticed a bit more spam since new version, maybe mods are working on fine tuning spam filters. To be fair the spam does disappear pretty quite though.

My hypothesis is that it's spamming all XenForo domains with "Black" in them. Does anybody else see this pattern?

If this is the pattern that the spam takes, then BHW isn't a target in itself, but instead just happena to fall into a small demographic of XenForo sites with "black" as a keyword. The real targets are probably fringe XenForo "Black Magic" or "Black Sorcery" forums.

They'll keep coming. What the admins need to do when they get on in the morning is ban "774216" as a keyword, then they'll get a couple days of breathing room until the spammer wises up and changes his contact number. EDIT: there are actually 2 or 3 that would have to be banned based on contact number.

This string is part of the spammers conact number and common to all his posts, if the spam threads are gone by the time you read this.

@jazzc you have rights to globally deny creating and commenting on threads with the aforementioned keyword ^^^? It'd a quick fix to block that spammer, at least for the night.

They're created at psuedo-random intervals, and they'll just keep coming. I wouldn't stress about it too much. It happens.

I think they're just using a tool to spam posts in forums and for some reason BHW is on that list.
