The Real Scoop on PPV

How effective is it really? I'm thinking of running some traffic for binary and forex and before I waste a bunch of time I want to know how effective it can be.

And just so you know many and I mean many people claim a success on a course or a product that is not real, I know perfectly well how the game is played. I just want the real scoop on this source of traffic and if its worth pursuing and perfecting.

I do know it requires money, work, split testing, but how sustainable is it?

There are TON of people running those offers on PPV.

And I see those type of pop-ups everyday on the sites that I normally go to.

If you're skeptical then use boxofads to see what type of offers people are running these days.

I just heard about box of ads a few days ago. That would cure my skepticism quite quick wouldn't it.

What is there to be skeptical about? People dump tons of money every day into these PPV models and networks. It seems like you understand the basic model/method ... it's called direct response. With the advent of the internet old school models that used to require call centers and media buyers for radio and tv ads are all easily achievable online.

Are you seriously asking us if Direct Response is a viable model/method? For clarity, PPV is the real thing, but how sustainable it is will be absolutely up to you. Make millions or go broke. Both are very possible, although the latter is far more likely.

Only asking for one simple reason, namely, as you said most go broke, and while I know most go broke the question is sustainability for people who have a clue. Is it more of a magical unicorn that people do for a few days, make a few bucks and realize it's not sustainable?

Binary and forex niches really sucks with PPV unless you have large budget and good targets. Bids go really high for these niche keywords and targets. Its hard to get profit. your camp. will die really fast in these niches.

Thanks for that insight Nut-Nights, that was awfully cool of you to give me some insight about it. If you don't mind how fast do campaigns die off in those niches?

Does anyone run PPV or pop-up traffic for content/gallery sites?...ie conversion = click on ad
