I spent 6 months in Honduras (La Ceiba) living in a huge apartment on the beach. I had some money and had never had a proper vacation so I decided to take 6 months and do nothing. It was easy to swing (rent was only 200 bucks a month). I filled my time with writing my erotica ebooks, learning to play harmonica, scuba diving, learning Spanish etc etc. You can fill your time as long as your mind is occupied. The minute you stop occupying your brain, it will wander.

I thought I was the only one who felt bored and lonely with plenty of money in the bank, I've already taken more vacations this year than I ever have before. I think I'm going to get me an outside office, sometimes I just go to the library and work from there plus it's free wifi lol, but that gets boring too, never thought I would be able to say I was bored without having to work my butt off, well I guess my generosity and hard work has paid off.

I know a very successful nutritionist that achieved their goal and realized their brain had become unsatisfied with enjoying success, always wanting to build a higher goal on the same subject. They had to re-train themselves to step outside and pickup new hobbies and reasons to strive for something.
Would you rather be the lucky one who gets to be bored of his comfort, or the one who struggles and never gains it.

I think diversification would help with your problem. And maybe finding new hobbies, there are hobbies that are pretty much infinite in the time you can give them. Or try to make your job more interesting; if you are selling services, add new ones, if you are using lets say 10 websites, open 5 websites, and if it doesnt help, take bigger risks for bigger rewards. Maybe money itself doesnt help you and maybe many of those people who need help are lazy as you called them, but I am sure that kids who need food really need that money and it isnt their fault.

This thread is just another epic thread especially from what Netmoney1 wrote, his back story with real events so touching that almost got me, his inside experienced is some sort of life lesson for everyone with the right attitude. And it's not just because the story is real but the way he line it up together into a short post.

I know what you can do, start making music/painting. Anything creative really, that could even apply to something like re-working a car or anything like that.
It really does help when the IM life starts to become tedious and boring, if only we could all buy ferrari's and hop on jets with pretty women on a daily basis...

Come to think of it, the life of an IMer is not unlike that of a BodyBuilder. The dedication to living a repetitive life in order to achieve greatness, even when the food tastes like shit and you don't want to lift another weight.
As for the glamorous lifestyle perk of elite IMers, it's for show and only for business related purposes (yay tax breaks) so don't feel bad.
