The Privacy of BlackhatWorld Update

Hey, I havent been in this section in awhile. Was wondering what the update or the verdict was on that poll awhile ago. About how to keep blackhatworld private and such, whether to charge to be a member here or whatever?
What was the verdict?

Also, I am realizing now that VIP status and forums now require $97 YEARLY?? I thought it was a one time "donation' hence the word. Everytime I get closer and closer to about to join VIP it costs more ha. I thought we decided not to charge a yearly thing for BHW? And it is the same, because we all know all the GOOD stuff is in there.

The outcome of that poll was to keep it public sign up, ie no vouch system, but to keep certain sections locked down and make it harder to obtain jr vip
