Hey guys,

Getting a dedicated server just for xevil and recaptcha solving. Right now I can only run around 15-20 threads with xevil on a 2.1GHz 8-Core 7251P AMD EPYC server ( there are a ton of other programs running in the background as well). I really want to get the thread count up to 200+ plus, but need a little assistance for setup from those of you with experience. What is more important, the processor speed or cores and threads when running xevil?

For example, right now I am trying to decide between these 2 servers.

AMD EPYC: 3.0GHz 16-Core 7302P AMD EPYC

2 x 2.1GHz 18-Core E5-2695 v4 Broadwell Xeon (36 cores and 72 threads).

Both servers have 64GB Ram. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Dual E5-2695v4 will give you better performance for sure.
How much you are paying for this server? Take a look at hetzner.de offers. Really good performance for the buck.

Hivelocity has it for $260 at the moment. Hetzner has a solid 32core for around $150 it looks like. If you guys have any other recommendations for high-end dedicated servers please post them here, thank you!

Check this:

https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/cpu/12554311Ryzen 5950x is faster than dual 2695v4

Consider fact hetzner is "whitehat" - you are fine to run any software as long as you use proxy or VPN. 5950x server from hetzner is unbetable for the price. Fast CPU with data center grade disks and 128gb ram.
The Hetzner AMD EPYC™ 7502P 32-Core "Rome looks like a BEAST. Windows sever is additional 120 euro a month (ouch), but I haven't seen anything better for the $$$ as of yet.

You can install own Windows license via kvm, you can also pay someone to do this for you. Overall you dont have to pay monthly windows fee.
