Stop reading self-help guides, yaddayadda. "The Secret", "4hr Work Week","anything by Tony Robbins or whatever his fucking name is"

You already have everything it takes to create the lifestyle you want. Self help guides are full of feel-goodery advise that will motivate you and give you that sugar sweet high, but motivation of that kind doesn't work in the long term, it feeds the deep pockets of those that preach it, otherwise why the fuck would these people put a price on their advice?

A starving family in some 3rd world country doesn't concern itself with esoteric, "think and it shall be done" bullshit. You're on the street and you need to eat, what the fuck are you gonna do. Are you gonna think yourself rich? I fucking doubt it. The truth to getting what you want is, find somewhere you can add value, any niche, any product, any service, try and do it better than the other guy. If you can't manage that then get a day job. YOU WILL NEVER FIND AN EASY SOLUTION. Yes , you might envisage an incredible short term money maker, that will trick a few people into coughing up their hard earned money, but easy come easy go, the money you might have made from said scam, won't last long and you certainly won't enjoy the feeling that comes after spending it.

Man the fuck up, create or die. If you don't have something to offer the world, to make someones life easier, the GTFO, not for our sake, but for your own. In the words of that Octupus fuck from Star Wars "It's a trap"

Take a cold, hard look at yourself, look reality straight in the eyes, without fear and try and understand your situation. If you can't do that, you will fail I can assure you of that. If you can be the person that constantly and diligently assesses your reality, from one moment to the next, then you are already winning. Keep it real sounds like a fairly cheesy line, but take it from someone who has been in this game for a long time and fallen for every trick in the game, it might seem like a depressing move, but keeping your eyes on the prize and ensuring that no bullshit fantasies get in the way, is really the only way to go. If you are still looking for that little get out of jail free card, then stop. Immediately. It's never going to happen. That's not to say you can't achieve your goals, of course you can, but get your fucking head out of the sand and don't stop pursuing what you want until it's done.

Is your room untidy? Well don't tidy it. That's another distraction. Some might say, tidy space-tidy mind. Well that's bullshit. If you tidy your room, you will feel better I can assure you, that's your mind say, "well done, you achieved something today....Why not have a little downtime"... Fuck THAT! Don't stop. Don't ever stop until you've got what you want. If you are giving up your time to follow your dreams, given that your time is the most precious thing you will ever have, then don't let ANYTHING get in the way. No handy-wavy nonsense, no self-help guides, no facebook, reddit or anything. You're a starving African child and nobody is going to feed you. Just Fucking DO IT.

Your post just reflects your negative beliefs about money and the world. If you replace every "you" in the post with an "I" it makes more since why you are posting this here.

You want to make people fall in love with your limiting beliefs about money.

Plus your post makes my heart chakra close. Its very criticizing and judgmental. When your heart chakra is open you can see the divinity in everyone.

Everyone is perfect and imperfect as they are.

Thanks OP, it worked!

OP shouldn't be getting so much heat.

It's pretty sound advice - people need to realize that procrastinating, reading feel-good stuff like Reddit, or wasting time consuming content on Facebook is not going to get them anywhere. The only way to get rid of stress is to get to the root of it - and in the case of work, actually taking action instead of procrastinating.

Ok ytr191, how am I imposing negative beliefs in people? The closer you look at your reality, the easier it is to spot the problems that people face and therefore you are able to come up with a real solution. Ever read Richard Branson's Bio? He said you can take a market share by being 10% cheaper/better/faster. I'm paraphrasing, but you get the point. I'm talking about the reality. If you're already making the money you want and living a life of total financial freedom then fair play to you but if not then you're living in denial.

If you feel that I'm being negative I'm not. I absolutely believe any thing is possible. If somebody says something can't be done, I'll go out and find a way to make sure that it can be done. The fact is, too many people now confuse a "can do" attitude with a "live it and it will happen attitude". You tell me I've got a week to pay my bills, you can bet your bottom dollar I'm not going to spend my time focusing on positive affirmations and trying to tell my subconcious that " I believe in abundance". I'm going to go out, knock on doors, offer services that are needed, anything I can, to pay those fucking bills. Live in your little dreamland all you want, and in three years time, be sure to check in and let me know how that worked out for you.

Thats your belief.

-He said you can take a market share by being 10% cheaper/better/faster.

That's his belief.

OP -

Something you said I noticed in myself years ago, when there was something important to be done I would tidy up!

ytr191, I understand it's hard to give up on the whole facade, all the motivational bollocks that you've probably heard, but if you want something done, do it yourself. I don't quite understand what you're saying tbh. Yes, there's people, many people I've met in my life who think this idea and that idea is a load of shit, it'll never happen. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying, forget about the people that say this and that, look at the reality and learn to use your own judgement whether something may work or not. If there's a problem, then fucking fix it, don't procrastinate, find out where you went wrong and change it, don't rely on some neo-spiritual shit to get you to sleep everynight. Enjoy the pain and pleasure that comes from doing what you want to do, if you think you are the only one who wants it , then you are sadly mistaken and you'll soon realise you've wasted the best years of your life waiting for it to happnen. There's a huge amount of power to be had, once you realise that you are in control of what you want but at the same time you need to realise the facts, the reality that is staring you in the face. Your anger comes from your own self doubt I'm sure, the only way to do it is to fucking DO IT!

wow this is just bulshit advice. Your negative post probably reflects your life.

I am going the right way OP! I haven't washed myself,I haven't cleaned my room for several weeks and look what I got - I earned my first god damn MONEY! (well not yet though because they sent it today and it haven't arrived yet). But YEAH!
Shit works like a charm! :thrasher:

I think it's a good advice, I don't necessarily agree with the wording, but I can relate to your message. People express their thoughts in different ways.

Lmfao @ "THERE IS NO EASY METHOD" or whatever the fool-fuck you said. I agree that you are a fool if you PAY for advise since so much is given on this forum but there are a ton of easy methods to make a dollar online. The main problem people have is that they do not even TRY. There is a learning process with internet marketing but if you have a plan, mark it out and do not rush and apply yourself the sky is the limit. I don't feel like making my own thread so I will just hijack yours. Here is my fool proof method to making money online. I followed it and I bet I bank more in a month than you would ever dream of making online in 5 years. No disrespect.

1) pick a niche you enjoy. Sports? Music? computers?
2) sub niche it. Hockey? Heavy metal? Apple?
3) Google your sub niche and look at the existing sites in the top 10 search results
4) Write down what you like, what you don't and what you can improve
5) Think of a domain YOU like
6) register said domain and get hosting
7) build the site with either wordpress if you cannot program, or yourself
8) Build it how you would want it to look as you love the niche anyway
9) Create a facebook account and get some followers, join other communities and make friends by offering posts and content and slip your website
10) be patient
11) After a few months and you have a following add some adsense
12) continue to do what you love and money will follow
13) Don't worry too much about SERP or SEO. Build it so the audience wants to return, not because they have too or you are in good SERP
14) after you start banking say 100$ a month lightly look into SERP and SEO

Watch the domino effect and enjoy profit and educate yourself on adsense and other things you now can afford to look into.
Rinse and repeat and before you know it your expenses are 1/50th your bank and you are making more than your friends working the MF40

This is what I did. I remember when 10$ a month was mad bank, then 100$ and then 400$.....

those guides you mention do add value and i agree with ytr91, you might want to use those self help guides you mention to fix your negative beliefs

OP Branson? Do you feel like you are of that caliber?

Learn to live not told how to live. I mean heed advice but Branson could give 2 s$$ts about you/us.

I normally don't participate in these, but fuck them OP. I agree with exactly what you're saying.

1. Stop trying to cheat the system by turning a fast buck. Yes, it will work but it's not sustainable. If it were, half of you wouldn't be banking like you are and still going to University or College. You'd be home making fucking money because you knew you could sustain it. But you can't so you have alternate plan B. A job all lined up after you get your little piece of paper to hang on the wall and never use again. You jump from one method to the next because the one you're in gets blown out. Why? Because it's short term. It has no hope of lasting success unless it actually enhances someone's life.

2. Find something...anything...and add value. Make it better, cheaper, something. If you just throw a site up with a load of PLR that you barely took the time to spin and added nothing useful - again, it might work in the short term, but it's not sustainable. All those crickets you hear? That's the sound of NO TRAFFIC going to sites Google spanked for putting up shit and not adding value.

3. Yes, new age motivational stuff can work, but you actually have to apply it and do something. You can't just think "I'm rolling in fucking money. I'm Scrooge Fucking McDuck swimming in gold" and then go to your 9-5 job at Taco Bell or sit in Sociology class, do NOTHING except think about it and expect things to happen. You have to actually work for it. Or buy lotto tickets and believe yourself into winning. But you still have to DO something.

You're right on, OP. One of the better posts I've read here lately.

Make a plan
Add value
Take action
Rinse/Repeat

That is the key to sustainable success. If you're still in school, pay attention in Economics and Business class. They teach that shit, you know. There are no college classes on gaming YouTube as a sustainable business model for a reason.
