OK... so a month or so ago I had this desktop app built by a coder in VB and it needs to use a proxy.
So I paid for 6 shared proxies....let the coder have the IP's and he inserts them in the app.
He tells me every time I start the app it will automatically connect through one of the proxies....and when it is next used it will connect using a different one.
Initially all went well....but over the past couple of days I've been having problems as the app cannot now access g**gle to grab keywords....and has become very slow....
And guess what?...the coder has gone missing and no longer responds to my emails....
So a couple of questions for you much more knowledgable members...!
1) How do I know if the app is actually connecting using the proxies I paid for?
2) Anyone out there who might be able to offer a fix (I can let you have the relevant source file) Please PM if so.......
