Goes to show it's all one big yada yada today. Mothers against violence in games while beating their kids daily, fathers against porn online while going astray the first chance they get (if ever), G against everything evil... Who am I in my insignificance to lose any sleep over MY deeds fvcking up search engines all day & all night :)

They would be THAT profitable, even though they like to cancel our accounts over a minor $1000 and take our money? Lame.

A classic Illustration.

Not quite in Sympathy with Google, nonetheless Revealing.

Bottom Line : Google Is a True Monster. for Good or Bad !

Does anyone else think that the infographic itself is absolutely stunning? :)

Biggest revenue percentage comes from Adwords because Google banned many adsense accounts and didn't return Adsense earnings to advertisers.

200 Billion minutes is 380,000 years, not 380,000,000. It even says that in the number: 380 , 265 . 176. Whoever made that image evidently doesn't understand the concept of the decimal point.

EDIT: Also, big companies who break the law NEVER get fined anything which would make a real difference to them...Its always peanuts compared to their revenue. Fines against companies like that are more of a token to make it look as governments aren't in the pocket of big business.

Ehm.. Saying "more than the gdp of the 28 poorest countries" might be insulting to some. Seychelles, for example, can not be considered poor because of their GDP. Just look at their population - 84,000 according to Wikipedia. For such a small country that kind of GDP is absolutely normal.

lol. The amount of people that think , and . are interchangeable is staggering.

It begs the question, how much of the rest of the information is reliable with such an elementary mistake lol.

The biggest concern which is not being shown here is the market share that Google has over other search engines.

Having a monopoly business in a market economy is the ultimate cash cow. The price of clicks are incredible and the reason why they earn 30B is because their adsense clients have no other alternative but them.

This is also the reason why SEO world is growing.....as a result of Google's monopoly driven greedy price floating.

They simulate a objective bid system but they don't allow you to pay for clicks below $.5 or even $2 for specific keywords.

as a side note, I love google because they are the reason I am making money...but in reality they are not such a good company like everyone says :)

Great chart, hmm so you say 28 countries, they could buy them out :).

If you use Adwords/Adsense, your account could get banned, unless of course you have a (corporate level) Adwords budget of $100k+ per month, which is where most of G's income comes from.

The main thing that to takeaway from all this is to diversify, and not to solely rely on your income from G$$gle. There are other search engines, and traffic sources, and if you know how to use them, they can be better than G$$gle.

Wrong. The amount of cash they earn from banning accounts are tremendously less than they pay out.

It is the approximately 40% revenue they earn from every click that makes them money. Not to mention that when the click is on google they earn 100%.
