You check your phone for one notification and somehow end up scrolling for 40 minutes.

What was the original reason you picked up your phone? I bet half of us won't remember.

I always use DND because my wife always keeps an eye on me so can't afford her to see dating app notifications lol

@Vynith got the cheat code manage so many girls mate as i cannot handle just one :D

I unlock my phone with a clear mission, then the screen lights up and my brain clocks out. Sometimes I lock it again just to remember what I was actually there for.

I turn off the notification from app that does not matter much.

Only important notifications. Thinking to turn off the WhatsApp notification as well for peace of mind.

Best thing for my health and my focus was when i turned off all notifications on phone, my life is so much better.

Sometimes I check my screen time and feel like my phone should be paying ME rent for taking up so much of my day. The worst part is, I already know tomorrow’s report is going to look exactly the same.

My phone has a talent for making the least important things feel urgent, a random notification can wait all day, but somehow I feel the need to check it the moment it appears. Still trying to teach myself that not everything needs an instant response.

So true We pick up the phone for one thing and somehow forget what it was. These apps are designed to steal our attention without us even noticing!

There's no escape unless you disable push notifications from each app one by one
