Yes, I know from being in the Telegram group. You know about the Cryptopia situation right? Hacker breached and accessed all of Cryptopia's funds...26 million dollars worth. He then proceeded to dump all the ERC20 tokens on EtherDelta and IDEX last Friday. So the hacker was able to dump 850k UFR on Etherdelta a few days ago, causing the price to fall.
The hacker sold all his UFR, so there's nothing to worry about anymore in the future with the Cryptopia situation at least. I am sure the price will rebound over the next few weeks.

Thanks for your answer. I thought it had something to do with the ico success of Bittorrent.
I like this project. So I'm happy that's the reason.
But at the same time, I feel sad for people who lost coins because of the hack,
or projects like Upfiring that get a kickback because of this.

Hold on. People will get paid for seeding? What's stopping someone from mining this just by seeding? If that's not worth it, then neither the payment for seeding.

I know its an old thread - but i just renewed my faith in this project and wanted to keep this discussion going and i am interested in your opinions on this project with the current progress.
As i am aware and i understand - the file "buyer" first have to purchase UFR in order to Decrypt the file - than after decryption the file owner + the seeders get UFR from that Decryption. File owner 50% + 50% split between seeders.
So i would say its pretty balanced - in order for one to have UFR to sell / another one have to buy UFR, so i do not see any downside here.
Also i just read that they are doing a STRESS TEST : https://medium.com/@Upfiring/the-fi...st-wednesday-september-23rd-2020-7995b4443878
So if you want to get some free UFR all you have to do is just download and keep seeding the stress test files, according to the post they will decrypt the files on : Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020 at 5 PM EST.

Do you not understand the premise of buying low, and sellling high? You're saying 1 million market cap as if it's a bad thing. If it was a 10 million dollar cap you'd be recommending people to buy then? You have it backwards.
The project is criminally undervalued. Amazing product with a growing community andd events planned for the future. In what world is this project a bad buy?
