Really like the new Facebook system at YouLikeHits. Instead of giving/getting points for liking a page, you now give and receive points for viewing a page.

People might be skeptical of this type of system, because there isn't much incentive to actually "like" but over the weekend I have seen my likes continue to climb, even though it's at a slower rate. The likes are probably better quality when you do get them though, not to mention there is sort of an unwritten honor system, where people will still click like on stuff since they know it makes the site useful, and they want others to like their pages and continue to use the site.

The best part is that with this type of system, there is no more risk of YouLikeHits being banned, since all they are doing essentially is linking to people's profiles.

I think people should give the new system a shot as it still seems to be a workable way of continually generating likes.

Thank you for that. A lot of people are flaming the site for no longer verifying Likes. I see it as a bonus. You're going to lose more Points and get less Likes BUT the Likes you DO get are REAL people and actually interested in your page.

The big plus at the end of the day is that YouLikeHits is now entirely following the Facebook Policy and will not get banned also.

Yes. The important thing is that it's a continuous source of likes. Maybe you get 20 likes instead of 100 for the same amount of points, but likes are still increasing. People who flame the site or are upset, don't seem to understand that facebook has clamped down on incentive based liking, and any site which tries to implement such a system will just be blocked. So it's really either this or nothing. I for one am thankful we still have a steady way to increase page likes, and it IS working. We just need more people to use the feature and so long as people occasionally "like" stuff if they want to, it will remain useful.

Well I think part of it is that people have to actually like your page. Out of 800 points, which took me about 15 minutes to generate, I got about 15-20 likes. It is harder to get likes, but much easier to generate points now, without all the annoying "verification required" buttons. Also, if you are genuinely promoting something then even if the people do not click like, you still get exposure and build awareness for your brand etc. Also, when you do get a like, it is better quality.
