the new tier linking method ive been using.. who can predict if it will work?

Hey Guys so ive just set up a new campaign for a clients site ( outreach wasnt going so well.. no money for PBN) medium difficulty keyword.

It looks like this:

Tier 1 : 5 web 2.0 blogs wordpress.. tumble.. blogger.. etc

Tier 2 : 10 decent da/pa blog posts on niche relevant sites for each web 2.0

Tier 3: Blog comments/social bookmarks to index tier 2.

I then hit each tier from the side with "natural" social signals.

Is it likely to bring me any results if i scale these efforts? Or should I strip and try another approach? Is this a big risk to my clients site or am I safe as I have control of tier 1?

It should work and you're quite safe with your build there, 5 web 2.0s is not such a big deal, make sure they all have unique and relevant content though and 2-3 articles at least. Also don't expect an increase overnight it will take some time, you can do other stuff as well like setting google alerts for a few keywords and when you get an alert go and comment there with your main site, also find some forums on that niche that allow signatures and do some posts there, this will ensure you have a diverse links and will also help with some traffic that will be visible quick.

thanks coitza i really appreciate the helpful input i dont actually use google alerts as I have buzzbundle but ill give it ago and see if it produces better/different suggestions.

In all honesty this perticular client has such a boring niche ive stayed away from ploughing through forums but i think your right that I should diversify the profile some more and hit up some more nofollows aswell.

all other criticism/suggestions on how I can improve is still welcome from anyone else aswell !

10 blog posts won't provide enough link juice to your site. You need to build more tier 2 links and then build a 3rd tier of links which should be in the thousands.

thanks for the input! my aim here was to try and keep quality over quantity as its for a client so I thought 10 high authority blog posts might be enough.. what other type of tier 2 and what kind of quantity would you recommend for a medium competition keyword? And then you are saying I should just load up my GSA SER and go crazy for tier 3?

If you have the budget I would suggest you building your own PBN. It's more powerful than a bunch of web 2.0s if you ask me.

Those web 2.0s you built have no authority to g00gle, that is why you need to build links to them to build up the PA/DA. For PBNs, you are building links on sites that already have pre-existing links from authority sites and that will pass on to your site.

PBNs are are fastest way I've tried to reach page 1.

I've experimented with about 15 web 2.0s over the past 2 months, so far my site has not even moved. So yea, hope that helps!
