+10000 for the idea of adopting a street dog. Breed dogs are generally not that needy when it comes to getting a family. Street dogs are much more vulnerable and ill treated. Firstly, they don't get proper food and water. Secondly, many of them are hurt by people for little to no reason. I do not know how someone can be so ill minded to hurt them, but I see it all the time. Please save them where ever/whenever you can.

I have one fat guinea pig. Does it count?

I know the pain brother. It's hard. But you know what? He was your best little buddy, and he knew it. You were his whole world, and you cared for him.
You gave him 4 awesome years. The pain will fade (not completely) and in the end, you'll remember all the good times you had with your little buddy.

I hope you'll save some hopeless little dog. Especially the poor shelter dogs, once loved and now completely alone in this big scary world, will never forget
the second chance they were given. The loyalty and love of those dogs are not measurable.

Maybe this little clip is not the best watch for you right now, but it just shows how deep we care about our little buddies.

Here's mine, the name is Ceaser, 2 1/2 yrs old. He loves the beach and hates crows (any bird for that matter).
Doesn't like any bird lingering on our rooftop. Barks until they're gone.

He's the most energetic dog I've ever seen, It's annoying sometimes but his enthusiasm and excitement are infectious.
I love this boy and every other doggo in the world.

They deserve to be treated with respect, kindness, and love.
