You know what is more important than traffic?

A good business model, that?s what.

The better your business model is at extracting money from your site?s visitors, the more money you will make. Period.

There are two models I really like and DO in fact follow myself. First being
One model I really like is the ?Publisher model,? which not only sounds fancy and respectable, but is also really easy for anyone to set up AND makes a lot of money for you, if done correctly. (hint hint)

Here is how it works in the web scenario:

1. Create a website with lots of content on it, monetized using Adsense or affiliate links, etc.
2. Drive traffic to it
3. Make money

I DO realize that?s overly simplistic, but the ironic truth is, most people screw it up anyway. They get stuck on the first step - creating the website. What they do is they confuse the publisher model with the writer model, and mix the two up.

Let?s get this straight. It?s simple, not easy.

Paralysis By Analysis!
Instead of focusing on PUBLISHING the content on their website, they keep focusing on WRITING, BRAINSTORMING, CONTENT COLLECTING, and most of all, OVER ANALYZING!

And that?s where the "screwup' lies. This is because gathering content not only takes a lot more time than you need, it causes a temporary pause/paralysis in your business plan. Not to mention, it also pays nothing.;)

Writing content does not pay you any money. PUBLISHING content does.

If you are going to follow the publisher model, please DON'T over think things. And if need be, let someone else be the writer.

An example would be all those publishing companies in the offline world. The publishers of books and magazines make way more money than the writers themselves. Not just that, the publishers earn money from a LOT of books and magazines being sold, whereas the writer earns money (if at all) from just a few (or one) book.

Can you translate that back to the web scenario? If you write all the content yourself, you can only have one, two or three websites making money for you (if at all), whereas if you stop writing the content and focus more on just publishing aspect on your website, you can be making money from a lot of websites, all at once.

Think of a website as a well-oiled ?machine? that keeps working for you, day in and day out. Set it up once, and forget it. Then move on to the next machine.

THAT is where the real strength of the Publisher Model lies.

Anyone can do it. I can do it. You can do it. All It takes is some hard work.

But the question is, are you going to actually do it?:D

Please Thank me if you Enjoyed this!:D

Wrong Site. You're on "black hat world", not "the basics of the internet" :beerchug:

You should submit these to AC. Your other ones are really good!

lol Thought this could be something that could be implemented into other techniques, know what I mean? But Thanks Anyways.

that is so true.the immense amount of time spent in garnering content can mean business lost.
one can always add to the basic content, but it needs to be visible first!
