The Most Important Thing in Every House… Until You Actually Need It

Some things are so important in every house, but we literally forget they exist until the exact moment we desperately need them.

Like the nail cutter.
You don’t think about it for days… until that one nail chips, scratches you, or annoys the life out of you - then suddenly the whole house starts searching like it’s a missing treasure.
Once the job is done?
Boom. It disappears again like it was never born.

What other “Forgotten Until Emergency” items do you think belong on this list?

Today, I would say that it is an ordinary pen. Because I can't remember the last time I wrote something with a pen or pencil. And when you need it, either it doesn't write, or you don't have it at all.

Flashlight, batteries, fire extinguisher

envelopes and stamps, also WD 40, superglue

I just bite my nails lol
