apparently it is the most expensive tv series ever made
 
To be honest, the movies were a decent representation of the books (and I'm not talking about the Hobbit horror). I'm really excited for the series, hoping it will focus more the increadible lore that were left out of the Peter Jackson trilogy.

I wonder how many have read the novel? it is much better than the movie.

I read it every 3/4 years -- I read it to re-learn how NOT to give up :)

The general consensus seems to be that Amzn butchered the original universe with woke crap..

Lets see how it turns out.

I won't watch it though.. Maybe because im not a very big LOTR fan :D
