I know many of you are asking the question, "How long does it take to make money with ClickBank?" Well I've been asking the same thing for awhile. But this morning I woke up and saw that I had finally made my first sale =)

For me, it took 1 month and 1 day since the first day I set out trying to make money through affiliate marketing. The funny part about it is I haven't even written an article in the past week because of finals at school. So it goes to show how variable affiliate marketing really is. You might work your rear end off for a week and not see any results for another several weeks. But if you keep at it, eventually you will.

I've always wanted to see a thread like this, so my question to BHW is, how long was it from when you first started hard on affiliate marketing to when you made your first sale?

1 week using Yahoo! Answers, I didn't know nothing about anything, I was not a member oh BHW yet at that time, I just used my own "instincts". I was an affiliate, posted a question on the health sections on how to lose weight answered it, Dot TK my affiliate link. And there after 5 days of doing it I earned my first $80, that's when I learned that I had the Internet Marketer etched in my blood and I never looked back. After 3 weeks I had $520 on my account. This was on 2008, after that, no more until now. But I am 100x more experienced now. And have sites and tools. So yeah, if I count it now, since I made my own website, within 2 months I made my first ever sale. After that 3 sales more up until now...And counting.

So yeah... HARD WORK really pays off...

You do have affiliate marketing in your blood lol. Congrats on your great success, your story will help lots of people.
 
My experience with CB has been slow but thats not to say that it does not workm its just not for me. I had an experience with promoting a product legit WH. no BH. and got a few sales, was happy then logged in a week later to find 2 people was a CHARGEBACK...so im not to sold on CB yet, im sticking to CPA
 
I made my first sale using PPC on Yahoo Adcenter (or wahtever it's called now). I remember i was targetting foreclosures in canada and lost more money in PPC than I earned through that campaing. Those were my first $250 down the toilet.

I'm not making that mistake again.

congrats! I made my first sale after 2 weeks doing article marketing. Then my second sale came exactly a week later. Six days after that I am still waiting for my 3rd sale!

When I first started I tried loads of different techniques - now I am focusing in on what worked so far.

Guys this is the most interesting and encouraging post for me as I am about embark on that hard journey with confidence.Many Gurus have misled new entrants like us by telling that it is easy,but the truth is that it takes hard work and time consuming till you have learnt the game properly.Good luck Griggs.
 
congrats.. Keep doing what your doing right now.. Dont lose hope. Post a screenshot.. So that it will be motivational to others. I did the same thing when i got my first 2 sales

Still working on school work here, but logged on to CB again to see I had made another sale this morning =D
 
start with a non competitive term and use angelas backlinks and auto approve backlinks.
