The japanese PBNs

Everyone knows them. The good old .com, .org or.net domans, which has been spammed by japanese content, which got nothing to do with the niche. Most of them are looking all the same. For myself I just checked around 50 domains manually in the wayback machine and 40 of them have been spammed by japanese.

Now my questions...

First of all:

Why are all of them looking almost the same? I really don't think this is human/manual made.

Is it not important what the language (not even the same letters) of the website was before? I mean, would you guys use a russian/thai/chinese/indian etc. website and put your english content on it? I don't think so.

Why they don't even care about the niche? They put a skin care niche on a website which has been for cars and so on.


In the end:

Do they actually have any idea what they are doing? Or are we/am I missing anything?

They know perfectly well what they are doing and they are ranking in Japanese Google version or other Japanese search engines, which are much more forgiving than Google.com.

Language is not important, there are many sites from the past that have multiple languages on their site. If rebuilding, maintain the old language and add the new language you want to use.

They're using this for spam techniques, anyone can do it. Put up a bunch of spammy PBN's, run them through buffers, see what happens

I think this will only effect rankings in japanese google? Correct me if i am wrong here.

Okay, but if at some point Google JP becomes a lot more aligned like Google EN they are going to get these spammed PBNs, blogspot-type of links and pure spam and ban all of these websites right?
