The Inspiration Behind Your User Name ?

When I was 11 years old my Father passed away. One of the clearest memories I have of him was that he was a Ham radio operator, and his registered call sign was "N1 LSS". Obviously it's just a randomly generated string, but I was only 12, and used to ask him:

"Dad, what does N1LSS mean?"

He used to tell me it stood for "November 1st, Lost Shooting Star". He died on November 1st 1997

I actually have "Lost Shooting Star" tattooed on my arm

PepsiGuy - Well, I'm a guy, and I was thinking of a username when joining BHW so I looked around my room and saw a Pepsi can. Thus, PepsiGuy lol.

moving...I wish my name had meaning, I just made a blog about xbox awhile ago and set "xboxman60" in roboform and anytime I made an account I would click autofill :( Only if I know the name sucked.
 
My last name is Charpentier so all through school people called me Sharpie cause it sort of sounds the same.
 
I once ripped someones site and had a forum on it where my username was the same as the site, kept it ever since, easy to remember :)
 
I would always teach my friends at school how to do interesting things on the computer and they nicknamed me source. (like a source for info). It than became my hacker alias, and then I added the ll brackets when i got XBL and everyone on halo had it and now my name for everything is llSourcell
 
ah fuck, mine was fucking random as I signed BHW randomly, and I didn't expect to use BHW too much, but its sticked, and BHW is great, so I had to stick with this fucking random name which I have no liking of.

From the Thundercats cartoon - Snarf was the little nerdy cat. I added 2000 because some poofter already took Snarf.

Years ago in the MMO Dark Age of Camelot I made a minstrel who was going to be as gay as possibly. He was a kilt wearing guy, with armor dyed all Purple.
I named him aptly Hinkledolph Proudplum.
Now I just shorten it to hinkz for games and forums. :)
 
Just a very cute pet name for "Gilbert"-->gilby
The no.1 stuck since BHW did not allow username with less than 6 characters

was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back [talking 00] when i first started out ummm 'chatting' with the guys online. =D Thought it was a clever conversation dealer and it worked out pretty well.....pervs always wanting to know what kind of lesson I could teach them....smh....and it was easy enough to remember and 98% of the times it is an available name so I stuck with it.....
