Many of you already know of the 'The Inspiration Behind Your User Name ?' thread by tymillz.

I'm similarly curious about your (current) avatars!

I'll start:

The koala image I use is a stock photo that came with my computer. I joined BHW within a few months of getting it and I had almost no pictures on my computer, so I used one that came with it. I still haven't changed it, though I've thought about it a few times. I guess I've grown quite fond of it. No, I'm not an Aussie. Sorry if that's sacrilegious!

Tell me about yours!

mine is quite spiritual... i have a liking for hot chicks + that kid is badass

In my avatar, you will see "Freedom"

That explains my goal.

mine is simple...
i asked the owner of scrapebox sweetfunny if i could use the scrapebox logo as my avatar
and they said yes, as it goes with my service of providing proxies for google url scraping.
always better to ask than to assume, im glad sweet said yes i love my gif avatar

How long was this after you started your business? Right away?

One of my favorite quotes... Somebody here had it as their sig, though I can't remember who:
"Remember, you're trying to buy your freedom."

Can't argue with that logic. I think many of us subscribe to that school of spirituality.

well my sb service started feb 2010
i made the custom avatar in 2011 so about a yr later
i think ive had it about 2 yrs

It reminds me to stay away from smoking at any cost.

I like that. I once read an inspiring (true) story about a boxer who tattooed his dream (boxing) on his face so he could never live it down or give it up.
Immersing yourself in what you're passionate about can have truly great effects.
Like to story here. Good website, too.

Glad to hear that things are still working out. Your transparency on this forum has played a pretty integral part in solidifying BHW as a community for me.

Mine is simple as a music is my inspiration!

I like the idea! Any music favorites? Bands, genres, songs, etc?

Yes you are right. It reminds me to live a life free from drugs and even from cigarettes. I have seen a lot of lives around me being destroyed just because of drugs. I am 20 years old and all these years, have never even touched a cigarette and I want to live the rest of my life just like this.

My avatar is Heisenberg :)
It inspires me to create purest drugs.

Mine is Groo the Wanderer.

He is a well meaning guy, a soldier of fortune who never seems to get the fortune. Groo tends to go blindly forward, hacking and slashing (which he is very good at) at whatever the problem is, usually with a clear plan of attack, but without a clear understanding of what the hell is going on. He succeeds too, but doesn't always recognize success when he achieves it.

Sorta like me and IM.
