My website suddenly dropped in traffic with 75% traffic gone on 1st July then all the traffic came back on 17th July. Just like before the traffic dropped exactly like before at 12:00 AM right now. The same number of pages have lost rankings from the serps.
This happened again to every competitor who saw the same traffic loss on 1st July. Don't know what Google is up to. Does it want to give us heart attacks again and again?

Its just google dance since there is updates from google, wait for it ranking will get back soon. Check with your back link profile and on-page for any issues try to solve it and keep updating the content.
 
Don't be surprised by volatility in Googles SERPS.

It is an ads platform 1st and foremost, that has effectively ring fenced audiences behind their paywall, and a stable/ efficient SE a very distant 2nd.
 
It's just reminding you to be prepared coz abundant days will be over. haha..
 
Well thats thw thing with seo , its google dance and you need to get used to if you focus just on seo
 
The SERPs have been volatile for a few months now. Some of my sites have seen large dances within the rankings & others have just seen improvements with a slow crawl upward.

With 3 updates back-to-back, month after month a lot of marketers websites are effected. So, you're not alone.
 
Either Google dance or punished by Google update. Wait for few days, if ranking becomes normal, it is Google dance.

Google rankings actually fluctuate a lot, you can wait for some time until it gets back. Meantime analyze your backlinks and other factors bothering this. You can use tools like CoreSEO, which can help you in taking care of issues caused by sudden updates. You can fix them easily. Try it out!

My website at this point is at a state where checking backlinks won't matter. It's old enough now with several great natural backlinks from major authority sites from the same niche. I don't have a bad link profile either.
Also, the posts that lose their rankings completely from the SERP are exactly the same every time. I assume this is a google bug that is responsible for this mess.

Google's AI based algorithms are now such a beast that Google itself is unable to tame it's beast, so they end up tinkering, fingering & messing it up on a regular basis.
