The Grimbo Chronicles: How I progress

Howdy Fellas,

Grimbo here. I am new and green as grass to the SEO and IM scene. I have decided to create this thread so I can keep tabs on my general progress and post any questions I may have on here.

Before I knew anything about IM and SEO I made an affiliate site thinking its an easy way to make some cash. I made zippo. I just reactivated this site, and am revamping it as we speak to try and make some $$. I am combining two newbie threads to try and maximize my results.

I am writing reviews of popular products, and posting video reviews to go along with it. All this includes a facebook page as well to try and get a handle there. I am redesigning the site to be a review site.

I also just learned about back links, so I am posting the link to the facebook page everywhere I can that is relevant. I am also cruising all kinds of forums to mention my site saying I think it is a good spot to learn from.

For serious money, back links should be counted in the millions, not in the hundreds. This means either spending a lot of money on services, or purchasing software and learning how to do it yourself.
