The General "How much should I charge for..." Thread

Hello everyone,

First of all, I'm not exactly sure this is the right place for this thread. If it isn't, please move it. This forum is so huge!

Anyways, I'm sure many of you often ask yourself a random question about how much you should charge for x product, service, link, article etc. I've seen many threads like this poping up all over the forums, and I have a question like that of my own. I figured why not create a general "how much should I charge for..." thread and let everyone with a similar question post and get an answer in here. Some questions are definitely not worth a thread of their own and could easily be answered so if you have such a question please post it here.

Anyone trying to answer the questions, thanks a lot. Please answer by quoting the post you're answering to in order to avoid confusion.

Keep your question concise and straight to the point. Give all the information you think would weight into the answer (traffic, type of product, niche if possible, type of service, frequency of service, etc.)

I'll kick things off with my own question. I have a website in the financial niche (a bit more specific). It's an authority website with quite a lot of pages (>150) and a blogging area that we update several times a week. The website gets between 120 and 180 visits per day. I get requests to post guest articles almost on a daily basis. We've been doing it for free so far (strict rules: >500 words, one image, one link in the "about the author" section, etc) but we are thinking of starting to charge for it.

How much do you think I could charge for that? Per article, knowing that the article will be shared on our social media profiles (twitter, FB, g+, SU) and it will never be taken down.
