The forum rules

Just a question really.
When i first arrived here in january there were a lot of rules in place.
Which for the record i agreed with and liked.
No double posting, no urls in posts, no thanks posts or similar to boost post count etc.
Now i am seeing more and more and not seeing mods jump on the posts.
Is it because VIP has opened? and now its a nuff nuff sort of area now where anything goes or am i missing something.
Im not complaining as i feel i have no right to do so.
More just curious as i see posts that back a few months ago would have been booted as quick as they posted. Now nothing?

The forum has undergone several changes. The most important being the removal of post moderation, where everyone with under 40 posts' posts were approved/disapproved before they went live. Several rules have become a little more lax, but for the most part they're still in place.

I'm going to be updating the rules shortly, and will (hopefully) put a new welcome message in place that will blast a few of our most important rules out to newbies as soon as they join. That way, they'll have no excuse!

As you were the one to lay down the rules and set me in the correct direction when i joined i appreciate the reply.
But to be honest im a little disappointed to hear that the rules have laxed a bit and i guess now i have to deal with that.
I liked the strict nature of BHW where people were put in there place for any infraction where now its like a free for all.
Not for my but im but 1 of a vast majority.
