Hey guys,
I’m new here and I’ve been noticing something kinda weird lately.
Some accounts seem like they might be run by the same person or agency, with multiple profiles under different names.
Also, I keep seeing fake comments like sample requests, order confirmations, and positive reviews that look like they’re just trying to make things seem real or boost their sales.
Is this a normal thing around here? Or is it something that’s actually against the rules and should be reported? Just curious what you all think!
Let's talk!!

You can report these things to the staff. They're already monitoring such accounts as far as I know.
I don't know how do they even get clients with such explicit account farming.

@UrbanSnake and @Venusaur are long lost siblings so they might appear to be run by the same dude/ gal. :p

This has been already been highlighted by several members in the feedback and suggestions section and one of the mods/ admins said they are actively working on combating something like this.

No harm in politely reporting in case you have doubts. It happens from time to time but recently I personally have observed that genuinely enquiries on my BST are fairly less. Kind of weird.

Welcome to the board! If you see anything suspicious, report it. We will deal with anything you've seen promptly.

Good eye! That kind of stuff does pop up sometimes. If it feels shady or fake, it’s usually worth reporting.

Just report the stuff you find suspicious, but keep in mind you are new here, there could be a lot of mechanisms in place you don't know about. For example reviews - there is this thing where if you are Jr Vip, you can test other seller services at discounted rate (or free) in exchange for a review, so maybe the positive review you thought is fake is actually real, but it is incentivized.

Just some food for thought

I've seen some HAF threads get 20 replies in 2 minutes. Like wtf
Report, report, report!

Not aimed at you but we get people mentioning this sort of thing in threads but we never see their names pop up when we process reports. Use that time to help us clear it up and everyone's happier.

I report sometimes when someone absolutely break the rules, how do I even report 20 replies when they all look genuine. I guess next time I'll report a single comment and ask to check the thread.

That works, too. We always welcome as much detail as possible, helps us process the report more speedily and accurately.

I’ve reported a few users and their fake accounts used to boost sales threads with fake samples, orders, and reviews. I hope the BHW team continues to look into this, as it affects honest sellers.

One of the accounts I reported has already received a warning, which I really appreciate.

Yes, it happens sometimes—some use it for fake credibility, but if you spot patterns that clearly break the rules, it's always best to report it to keep the forum clean.

Definitely report if you see strange patterns so that only legit services stay.

The only solution is to simply report it and pass. You don’t even have to spend more than a minute on that.

Most platforms strictly prohibit fake engagement and consider it a violation of trust. If it feels dishonest, it’s worth checking the platform’s guidelines and reporting suspicious activity.
