I think FDA is pretty full of bullshit...money drives them. In US they use so many GMO's (genetical modified organisms) in plants, animals etc without knowing the full extent of health risks on humans.
American milk is banned in Europe, Canada and other places because here they choose to inject the cows in the head with growth hormone which has detrimental effects on humans' health but FDA is okay with the idea.

I agree. The FDA is full of crap. Like banning ephedra because out of shape overweight goons tried to shortcut their way back to shape.

On the other hand it is a good time to take advantage of the publicity. Maybe a weight loss report about how to lose weight without pills, etc.

2 day old news. Look at the searches for "hydroxycut replacement"

And being into fitness and bodybuilding and an avid supplement user - sometimes the sheeples think "If it says I should take 3 a day... maybe 6 will give me double the weight loss" This is what happened with ephedra and how they got that beauty of a shreading sup banned as well.

Bench, that is a very good idea! I like that way of thinking here on BHW! It's not "oh no, I just lost a source", it's "ah, perfect, now I'll monetize on it like this as well".

Yeah, FDA is just...full of crap. Same thing with the whole "Trans Fat"-thing. As long as it's under 0.5g per serving, you are allowed to say "0 gram trans fat!"...Problem is that if you eat a large cookie or a bag of chips, and they have 0.4g, you'd consume 5-10 servings easily, meaning you'll be getting 2.0-4g of trans fat from that crap.

Meh... I used hydroxycut, there's much better stuff available now anyways, i had better results from Stimerex ES. From what i hear, the recent formula of hydroxycut isn't all that effective anyways?
