I have been doing SEO for two years and didn't have any experience in email marketing. Recently, my boss asked me to get a large number of email list in about two weeks.

I know the best way to do email markeing is to build the list yourself, but the time is urgent. It seems impossible to build such a large list within a short time.

So here are my thought:
1. Buy email list
Pros: the most quick way
Cons: authenticity of the list, there are many scammers out there.

2. Scrape the email list using software
Pros: Cheap and relative
Cons: time-consumering

3. PPC with specific landing pages
Pros: High quality
Cons: needs much more money

P.S the niche is targeted for high shcool students.

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

How many emails? xxx, x,xxx, etc.?

Perhaps a contest or targeted promotion? Especially if there is some sort of viral component to the promotion. Requires a bit of creativity, some promotional effort, some cash but can be quick as well.

Polls, quizzes, etc.

I would scrape the list. Depends on how many you need, but there is a scrapebox footprint you can use for CL and it works pretty good for me.

If you have money budget
you can try soloads, in my test, soloads have better result than ppc
cheap targeting and fast

Thanks

Since he may hold you accountable for the quality of the list, I would discuss these options with him

Yes. As hadoken suggested you, go have a small talk with your boss and explain the consequences of each method.

At least, 1,000,000. What's kind of promotional you suggest? We do PPC mainly to acquire clients. But it is too costly. Creativity is a bit hard for us at this stage.

Thanks, Flex. Actually Some of my colleague tried SB before but without any luck. Is there something to do with server or proxy when using SB for scraping?

Would you be more specific about solo ads? How to implement it? thanks

Quality is the most important for us. So we'd love to pay an reasonable fee to get the list if anyone already have.

Hi Rubymooree,

Funny enough my niche market is identical to yours but probably far more localized. Yes, I did join this website today but hay sometimes in life strange coincidences happen.

I have wrapped up certain areas of our particular niche in lots of other ways and might be able to swap a few ideas. The projects that I have been working on have been ongoing for about six years and completely revolve around the educational sector.

If you are interested in having a chat then please feel free to get in touch.
