From years of experience in business; one of the most vital components of any successful business is the mindset and attitudes of the owner and of the team.

Honestly, if I were to accredit my business success to one particular thing, then this would be my go to on any given day. This mental shift could transform your life forever just like it did for me many years ago, as I currently own and manage two fairly successful brands, manage a team of five and recently wrote my own book which all came from implementing these key points. Bear in mind business took me to a very dark place and was not showing any signs of light in the tunnel before my awakening. So...

Daily Optimism - you are going to have to set the tune from the very beginning and declare to yourself and your mind that everyday you will take on a positive outlook and approach to business. Meaning, irrespective of the hurdles and obstacles (and believe me they will come to test you) always keep the enthusiasm and patience to see things through.

Discipline + Habits - will be your best mates on your journey - once mastered, honed in on and embedded into your system then you my friend have a bright future ahead of you. Carry these two tools everywhere you go, never let them leave your sights.

Everything is a numbers game - if you don't like maths then I advise you to start loving it regardless. Generating revenue, saving, investing and reaching your financial objectives will require the know-how even when you have an accountant. Creating your own cash flow forecasts and gross projections early on will help greatly. Even tasking in specific numbers was a game changer for me.

Think Scalability from the start - if business is not scalable then ask yourself is it even worth the time and effort. Always keep the business' scale factor in mind, it will go a long way.

Productivity is the gem, stop being busy - early in my days I thought being busy was working so well for me but then I woke up to smell the coffee and realized it got me nowhere. Start prioritizing and taking breaks when you need to.

Leverage Accountability - there's power in being surrounded by similar minded go getters, so use this to your advantage and the people around you to push you past your limits. This can do wonders, even other forms of accountability.

Dig deeper- for when the times really start to test you, you need to look within and dig deeper for the relentless spirit within you to keep pushing no matter what. Meditation helped me in this area.

Hope these offer some help to someone because after speaking to so many people and many of my students, I have noticed that having the wrong attitude and mindset was the reason why most fail or throw in the towel early.

Transform your results when you transform your mind. Business is never easy and I have been there before, feel free to comment or message if you're struggling, always happy to help where I can.
