Ello is the anti-Facebook, and it has no problem stating that. The bare-bones, ad-free, so-minimalist-it-hurts social network was designed in response to the many controversial Facebook policies, especially the one that forces users to display their real names.

It's been blowing up everywhere. Requests to join is at 27,000+ per hour, Twitter exploded with desperate requests for invites, eBay responded with an enormous black market for invites, and Ello became the fifth hottest trend on Google searches.

I managed to get in. I have some invites if anyone wants them.

Whoa! You figured out my master plan! I actually created ello.co and i'm pretending it's becoming huge just to collect emails.

If you're worried about giving me your email then create a fresh hotmail account to sign up with.

If you're a real internet marketer you should know the potential here. Getting in early is a huge plus. You'll have a head start.

The website is blowing up everywhere.

I've never heard about it until now. I might consider joining Ello once I gather more information on it.

Update: I sent OP an outlook email address. I'll tell everyone the results once/if I get in.

Another Update: OP was telling the truth and sent me an invite. I am now a member of Ello. Thank you, OP!

I don't think it's possible to invite without email since it asks for the email in the account profile thingy.

Looked at some profiles and most look pretty spammy or over-sexed like MySpace used to. I will game it for SEO, but my gut tells me it will fail horribly.

i just generated a few invite codes:

Those are probably mine. I'm spamming porn on mine lol.

I'll be honest with you. I don't really like the website.

I don't like the name. I don't like the .co domain. I don't like the theme/layout. I think the entire thing is a marketing stunt.


But the fact is, people are hopping on the boat fast. I read that the invite requests is up to 70,000 per hour now. That's insane. It's better to get in early and start spamming shit up.

I'm already getting traffic to my website redcupbooty from ello. So something is working for sure.
