I'm looking forward to see how this changes things up. Should be an interesting week when the change rolls out.

first I though it must be a joke, not possible for this kind of button. But if they manage to make it more like a "awful to hear that" not "I don't like you" button, it might work.

I can then FU to all people ignoring my great mobile games they ignore and dont download making me cash I really need

Blackhatworld should nip in now and take the limelight with a dislike or FU button

I think its' a bad idea, give people options and they won't know what to do with them :) having only 1 button is enough :)) if you dislike just don't click..... that's how it should work actually, subtract the number of likes from the number of your total friends and you have the dislikes..
 
Won't be long before shock pages start making $$$ on FB.

Very interested in knowing on how these plays out with facebook ads. Especially those mofo's who pull thousands of dollars doing bh niches.
 
lol..they should put some time in making a good support system too!
 
This dislike button will create mess and i think you will see the number of friends decreasing in this case. People will unfriend the person whom dislike their post, status or video. I think this dislike button will drop the market value of Facebook in stock exchange also. I dont like this idea for business purpose.
 
If someone needs an idea to make some bucks (or a few k bucks if you know what you are doing) of this:

Create FB-app called 'Dislike Beta'
Create website promoting the App as 'early access before anyone else'.
Cite and link to above mentioned sources.
Get permission to post with the app (and whatever else you want to do with the users)
Spam the website.
Go viral.
