Hi guys,

So I work for a glass bong manufacturer and we just can't seem to grow our traffic.

I should point out here that I've been making sites since the 90's and thought I knew a bit about SEO. But it seems I completely underestimated how much work SEO really required.

I really thought that our website with about 350 products and their descriptions would be enough content for Google to rank us, but it seems that without backlinks and 100's of shitty 'articles' like "how do I smoke a bong' 'what is a percolator bong' etc etc Google won't rank us.

We've not done any SEO except for the product descriptions and as a result we are still barely getting 75 visitors a day to our site.

I want to get to 300 visitors a day (which compared to our competitors is nothing) and they need to be from the US as that is where we sell our products.


So my first question / plea / request to the brain trust that is BHW is simple - what can we do to get more traffic?

I'm going to assume that you are all aware that Google, FB, IG, TikTok etc etc will not allow advertising of bongs because they are drug paraphenalia.

Yes, Even Amazon has supporting articles. Google expects more.

You have to understand that what you're calling here as "shitty articles" are the one that Big G. likes. With enough quality, they can bring even more than the 300 visitors per day you're asking.
