The Desktop Motivational Mind Hack!

Looks more like an advertisement of your blog than anything...

I find it hard to call a "motivational desktop wallpaper" a "mind hack".

I actually never thought of this, put motivational pictures on your desktop so you can look at it every time you are at your computer and be reminded of it. Like for some people who don't take action can put a picture of somethings that reminds where they can be and get in life, the pictures will always be there and it might actually help a bit ;)

Exactly!

For people who are already doing this it may seem like nothing but i guarantee you they get more done and even with my 100's of tabs and other things open i often do catch a glimps of either my full desktop picture or just a part of it (even if it's just when things crash).

Still waiting to see other peoples though....

Very Simple, but simple can be good. Not really new in my eyes.

Been doing this for about a year, and it's awesome! Every time I come to my desktop, I see a Ferrari, a mansion, or just some beautiful beach. Works wonders.

Take a screenshot and post it here man! Im sure im not the only one who would love to see it!

My desktop is a video of a turtle swimming around underwater using Windows Dreamscene with no icons on a 40 inch. In all honesty, it's de-motivational considering the amount of time I waste staring at it. But that's the way I like it lol.

Cheers,

LOL! For years ive simply had a plain blue background color to save on the processing power and RAM so i can actually use it for something useful... but damn that's gotta suck a lot of juice!
