Hey Guys,

I was testing the water with a women's fashion store dropshipping from Aliexpress, the wait times are just crazy, 2 months with free delivery (I would never choose this though lol)

Even paid delivery is still borderline too long, it would be a great business model if it wasn't for that, how does everyone deal with the delivery? just purely ePacket products?

cheers guys

Graham

I think the above is great advise ans as you say epacket.

Aside from that I would recommend you make it apart of your sales process. Use it as a selling feature.

It takes a little bit longer but it keeps the price low: patience has its own reward.

I would also instigate a follow up email campaign to let them know each step of the way what’s happening. Implementing this greatly reduced cancellations on my store.

Depending on the type of store you are you can some fun and personality to the emails. I used the story of the shoemaker and the elves as inspiration.

our show maker has received your order and will soon get to work on your.

good news the elves have been busy and look what they made.

etc

The shipping time also varies by the supplier and the agents they use for actual shipping. Some stuff takes seven days to get here (Thailand). others take 40 days, using the 'same' shipping method (Singapore Post, Yanwen, etc.)
