I just watched Dateline and it was about the amount of people in the United States becoming swapped in debt.

These thugs were buying the debts (pennies on the dollar) and calling the debtors and posing as police saying "I'm deputy so and so and we got a warrant to arrest you for the debt." Guess people paid bringing the thugs millions of dollars.

Now, I would hate to do this, but I can see that there would be huge money collecting debts in a nicer but still Black Hat way.

I'm sure Dateline gave someone an idea who will do it fo sho.

Hahah, instantly had this image of a badass e-thug posse. :lmao:
Of course they'd have to stick with email threats, since their Revenge of the Nerds voices wouldn't intimidate anyone over the phone.

But yeah, this idea could have some merit... Indebted people are already a huge IM market, after all.

What if you didn't say you were the police. I'm sure there is a clever way to talk to these folks without saying anything "illegal".

    e-muscle, lol.
