The Current State of SAPE Links

The article was wrote 4 months ago, its been working fine since then and is still working after the recent penguin update. A lot of the dribble on that site is hearsay and second guessing take it with a pinch of salt.

Have a couple of questions regarding SAPE links.
  1. Why the fuck do they even work? What is it in G's algo that they are exploiting?
  2. I still see BST's for SAPE links here on BHW, but given the article below, is it a waste of time, or is getting ride of the SAPE network harder than it would seem to be?

they aren't exploiting anything, its a know fact that high PR authority backlinks help a lot more in rankings and SEO than low quality crappy links. SAPE is just a market place for people to buy high authority, high PR, backlinks.

don't believe everything you read on the internet, the algo change that effected SAPE the most was penguin 2.0, it effected less than 1% of the sites by deindexing them from google and lowering their PR. there are still lots of sites that rank just by using SAPE links.

SAPE has over 670,000 sites in it and it grows everyday, for google to penalize it I think their only option is to completely change their algorithm so sites don't rank based on the authority of their backlinks, which in my mind will never happen.

my answers are in red :)

Google will have a real issue fighting SAPE as it's not a "network" in the traditional sense, it's a marketplace and some of the sites are selling hacked links etc.
So there's no obvious footprint for Google to latch on to.

Men why don't you beleive what reputable members are telling you ?
Yes Google targeted a link selling network : but it was TLA not Sape.
So yes sape is still working just like members have been telling since the penguin 2.0 rolled out. People are banking good money using it.

Do you know that SAPe links are called SAPE cause the company selling those links is called SAPE. It not some kind of specia links or some kind of woodoo magic, it is just high PR links....

There's no "exploit" its just a place to buy/rent links.
