Well mu guide has been copied a lot on other websites, maybe you have read a re-written one.

V2, there is no need actually, what do you not understand? The process is same, let me know your issue and I will gladly help you.

I already knew most of this, but Luka, good job! Obviously a lot of newbies found it useful. ;)

It does strike me as slightly strange that the best process to follow is 100% the same as when it was written (particularly in SEO terms as this is a rapidly changing field). Also, I suspect many (myself included) would appreciate some reassurance that following the SEO parts of this still represents "best practice" after Penguin.

Edit: thanks very much either way - well worth a read.

This is an awesome guide that contains pretty much any info you need about getting started as a webmaster. Great work!

Good point about the SEO part, but another wave of Penguin is coming so what I recommend is that you read about it briefly through different sources when it's out :)

Thanks

Luka

P.S I do not believe I have included any techniques for SEO, just basic info.

Your thread is a great resource and includes more than enough information for a beginner. Kudos.

This is really I wanted to do LukaB you have such brilliant idea, can i add you to my skpe account thanks you again!

Thank you! BTW, i both love and hate Hostgator. Great prices and support, but just don't put a paying client's site on a shared hosting account.

I like this thread. This is what we need more of on this forum. It is a good step-by-step guide even for people who have sites running now. As an aside, someone mentioned spinning. I would suggest you human edit every spun article before you submit to sites or directories. I have not yet found a spinner that works perfectly (the automated ones).
