Great list for newb's. I would like to suggest adding the Wordpress Mobile Pack. With the rise of internet enabled phones, mobile optimization can't be overlooked, especially if it is as easy as adding this one little add-on.

There is a little question about this post.
What's the value of a website created using your guide. So, for the purpose of adsense and blamads content locking? I don't think there is any value in a site like this one. Content is patched up. No innovative anyway. No visitors will like this. Just a waste of web traffic.
