The Cash Vendor Question

Hi,
this is my first post and wish to know if anyone bought The Cash Vendor from Rick Thomas? I joined his JV List and started to promoting his product. Yesterday i checked his list on who is the best seller, and found quite a few big names promoting his product. Then i checked his website backlink and found that has only 23 backlinks. How is this possible? Are they promoting only by list or PPC? If so then the only way to be so called guru is to have huge list or lots of money for PPC. What do you think?

Gurus money is often in the list. They keep a very, very big list of people who are looking to make money online. They often market, and re-market to those people over and over again. These people almost never go the SEO route at first because when you pay for ads like PPC you can get business much quicker. SEO takes time, but can still definitely be very profitable.
