Since this section is getting flooded with daily or weekly:

  • what social media is working best in 2025?
  • what is the social algorithms doing in 2025?
  • what's bringing the most results in 2025?
  • what's the best way to grow sm accounts in 2025?
And so on, we're creating "The Big Social Media Thread for 2025!" Please put all of these types of posts here instead of creating yet another thread about it. Then, when 2026 comes around, we'll create a new master thread!

Also, if you come across a really useful thread about social media (from somewhere here on BHW), please link it and @ me!

Hey everyone,

Social media keeps changing fast new algorithms, more AI tools, and tighter ad rules across platforms. Some people are doubling down on organic reach, while others rely on automation and paid systems.

I’m curious how most of you are approaching it this year:

Are you focusing more on content creation or ad campaigns?

Have you noticed any platforms (Facebook, TikTok, X, etc.) performing better lately?

And what tools or strategies are helping you stay consistent with posting or engagement?
I’ve been focusing on organic growth lately, especially on X. Warming up niche accounts with real engagement and relatable content seems to work better than heavy automation.

I’m focusing more on organic reach and short-form content. Paid ads feel tougher with new rules. TikTok and X still give good results if you stay active. I use Metricool and Notion to plan and schedule posts — helps stay consistent without heavy automation

I’m leaning towards organic growth this year, focusing on content quality and authentic engagement — though automation tools are handy for consistency! TikTok's still strong, but X is picking up momentum with real-time conversations.

In 2025, I’m focusing more on organic growth through short-form content and audience interaction while using light automation for scheduling. Instagram and TikTok are performing best for engagement, and tools like Buffer and Notion Calendar help me stay consistent with posting.

After all, I think it's YouTube.
On the other hand, tiktok will lose to YouTube.

It's my personal opinion.

I believe Instagram will stand out for a long time. Tiktok will loose at the end, it is quite obvious.

  • Youtube
  • Prioritize retention over likes, comments, etc.
  • I think long videos will become trendy again.
  • Generally, I think consistency and quality content (may vary between platforms)

what tools do you use for managing the accounts and purchasing them?
