Hey guys,

I am currently looking for some weight loss related products on Clickbank to promote.

After all, weight loss is an ever-green niche that will always sell.

There are so many choices out there. From Truth About Abs, Venus Factor, Paleo Diet, 3 Week Diet, Old School Body etc.

Which is the best? Which converts the best? What are you guys promoting?

Thanks

To answer your question, there is no "best" weight loss product per se. Each one of those weight loss products targets a different consumer.

  • Venus factor targets women who just want to lose weight.
  • Paleo Diet targets people who want to lose weight and be healthy.
  • 3 Week Diet targets people who want to lose weight fast.
  • Truth About Abs targets people who want to lose weight and gain muscle.
Understanding your target consumer is an important part of affiliate marketing and Internet marketing as a whole, so the best weight loss product depends entirely on your target consumer.

But let me ask you something, do you have a competitive website in the weight loss niche? If not, do you know many people who would find value in a weight loss product? If your answer is still no, do you at least have a method that you think can compete in one of the most competitive niches in Internet marketing?

If you answered 'no' to all 3 of those questions, I would stay far away from the weight loss niche.

After all, weight loss is an ever-green niche that will always sell.

So is the health niche in general and most other niches in health are nowhere as competitive as the weight loss one.

If you have an established website about weight loss, then by all means, go for it.

However, if you are looking into promoting weight loss products because you are under the impression that they are easy to sell, you're mistaken. Affiliate competition is extremely fierce and your IM skills are anywhere in the beginner-intermediate range, you're much better off looking into other niches.

I am currently promoting a health CPA trial offer. Converts well for me on twitter.
Don't think I can post it on here but pm me.

health are hard i found.

Only if you go with the extremely popular ones such as weight loss, abs, muscle building, vision improvement, etc...

There are tons of hidden gems in the health section if you know how to comb for them!

If you want to go with a popular niche, it's better to find a sub-niche of that popular niche; instead of just looking in the general health niche, you could try looking in the nail care sub-niche. Believe it or not, guitarists and diabetics often search for terms related to fingernail and toenail car respectively.

Thanks for the compehensive explanation of all them bro! You know your stuff!

I think I'll give The 3 week diet a shot. After all, customers searching for diets on the internet usually want super fast solutions I think.

I'll let you know how it goes.

I agree this opinion. Weight loss niche is in high competition such as internet marketing & making money niches.

You need to become expert in this niche to success and build good relationship to customers in long term. So try to other niche if you are newbie in the internet marketing skill.

Weight loss is a tough competition niche, you must be a expert to work with this friend

very competitive market... hopefully you aren't planning on driving this traffic from buying traffic... Nearly impossible if not impossible to make money like that... Unless you are the best out there.

Good luck.

Well, I wouldn't call it impossible. When I was a new affiliate for Clickbank, I actually managed to sell 3 Venus Factors, 2 Fat Loss Factors, and 1 Paleo Diet. Unfortunately, 1 of the Fat Loss Factors along with 2 of the Venus Factors were refunded even though I reviewed the products candidly on my landing pages. So it's not impossible to sell, but it is very difficult to keep the money for some of the more popular products when you're a new affiliate.

why don't you do some research by keywords, like how many monthly searches , what is ppc for it, and those such stuff, it won't take you more than 4 hours, probably even less.

I have a website targeted at the womens weight loss niche, not surprisingly VF converts best - around 1 in 35 hops.

My advice is switch to something else in the health nche other than weight loss, there are some that convert like crazy. Just be advised though, the look, feel and most importantly CONTENT of your website has to be top-notch to see high conversions.

Don't actually try to sell anything, just give away free advice and information to the visitor, and they will click your links and buy the product without realising you were promoting it.

Venus Factor sucks. Wayyyy too many refunds. 3 Week Diet is a good choice. I've had moderate success with it.

Is it only me or who else thinks that cb's "return/refund policy" cries out for fraud?

How can you even offer a refund for an ebook? After all, he has the ebook on his harddisk and he does not "return" it like a real book. He gets the money back and still has the ebook. So why not just buy an ebook for maybe $100 and then have it refunded? Easy way to get everything for free, huh???

It does, but I believe Clickbank blocks people by card number or IP if they suspect that the customer is a serial-refunder.

What? Venus factor has to be one of the best weight loss products on clickbank

It comes with a ton of stuff, and the creator is actually experienced in this field.

I dont know about 3 week diet, but anything that promotes extreme amount of weight loss in little time is either created purely for marketing or from a person with little real experience or credentials in the field.

Unless it's a product telling you how to get liposuction. :D
