The Best way to use BMD...?

Everyone always wants a cracked version of book marking demon, Hell I dont blame them. I spent a few days searching for one until I realized it was better to just buy it. But then I put it on the shelf so to speak. I go absorbed in other projects and never really tested its full potential. So I as you all whom are successful using BMD:

How much traffic are you getting from BMD?

How many links do you submit with BMD daily?

What is your process?

Are you submitting a bunch of other sites then a few of your own?

I was thinking spam the hell out the sites!

Like Creating hundreds of sites using angelfire to set up hundreds of sites then simply using a javascript redirect to my main sites. I figure 100 accounts per day x 20 bookmarking sites would be crucial(2000 links a day with some variation would definately beef up a site). Of course I would be churning through gmail accounts but who cares when you have a high-powered account creator!

I know that my enthusiasm is probably making me over look a few problems that I could incur, so how should I do this?

I have a 4 computers and 4 internet connections and I'm ready to add another income stream!

There are many answers to your questions, so I'll try and summarize to the best of my ability.

I have seen some traffic from my BMD bookmarks, both from Scuttle sites and the legit sites I bookmark to. I don't use it for that purpose however, but to get backlinks.

If you are doing a scuttle site only BMD run, I put all of my sites (and pages) into it. Let 'er rip! Use the crawler feature for your sites, it automatically fills in the necessary info.

If you are doing a legit bookmarking site run, mix in one site of yours to 5 sites of someone elses as a good and safe ratio. What I mean is put one of your sites in with sites like nfl dot com, espn dot com, msnbc dot com, etc. This will help hide your bookmarks a little more.

Be extremely careful slamming or spamming the legit sites. Only do one run per day, per account with them. Don't use the same account more than a couple of times in a week or month. This might seem extreme but quite a few of my sites are already banned or blocked because I f*&ked up early on and submitted everything. I was dumb and eager!

What I recommend and have been told that works pretty good is to put about 5 to 10 sites in on your first legit site run, wait about 2 weeks to a month and then add a few more. If you add to many of the same site to the same account, it apparently sets off red flags (see note above about banned sites )

You could use the angelfire trick, but if a manual inspection is performed on your sites, they will see the redirect and delete the account, block your IP, kill a kitten and kick an old lady in the head. It's really not pretty, trust me...

Do you think they would block an entire block of IP's?

wmitchell, I'm not sure about a whole block of IP's getting blocked, it could be possible. I have heard of bookmarking sites reporting your IP to your service company and them dropping you for spamming.

well...I cant really worry about that because I do so many "black hat" things as it is...and have yet to be dropped from my isp.

Really I am not worried about using bmd for backlinks I want to use it as a traffic source for immediate massive amounts of traffic...any luck?

As for the immediate influx of massive amounts of traffic that will click ads or affiliate programs, I haven't had any luck with that. I get more traffic from a SU submission than making a run with BMD...

Does BMD speed up indexing of pages?

BMD is mainly used for bookmarking social sites to get links. If you are in a rush to get indexed, just comment on some blogs or put up your own blog and post like crazy. Lots of ways to get indexed.

I know how to get indexed. I am concerned with getting traffic now! I really want to know if anyone has had success with BMD getting the traffic instantly?

Well I respect your opinion, but I have to disagree. I know of several ways to generate traffic "instantly". I am not talking about not doing any work and getting traffic. I am talking about figuring out the learning curve, creating the campaigns, and executing, i.e. posting ads on craigslist. Sure there is a learning curve but when you figure everything out, you are simply posting an ad and getting traffic to that ad. Is BMD a means for getting traffic instantly after doing the above.

Edwin did not really mean it was dead per-se, what he meant is that in its present form it is getting more and more difficult to keep up with all the changes. He just came out with a bridge update a couple of days ago with an announcement that a new BMD was on it's way... be patient all you BMD users it is not dead... we are just waiting for the next generation super hero to arrive...
