Have an article spun in TBS which contains several different paragraphs and now trying to generate multiple files that I will then open with Excel.

Problem is, I want each full spin (including every paragraph in that spin) to go into a single cell in Excel, so that when I open the file with Excel, each row contains the entire spun article, including all the paragraphs.

I seem to be stuck, where when I open the text file in Excel, each new paragraph in the spun article goes on its own separate row. I simply want each spun article to be contained in 1 row, so that if I had 100 rows, each row would contain an entire spun article.

Anyone know how to accomplish this? Been stuck on it for the last hour now

this happens because excel takes new line as a different row . Excel is not made for this purpose .

I would merge all the text files into a large text file (using cmd it is 1 sec job) or keep all text files in a folder .

If you still want to use excel an store article in one cell , use notepad++ to remove \n\n in extended mode with some characters say ### . Then excel should save in single cell . Then while importing it remove ### with \n\n . I would say it is cumbersome and highly fragile .

Definitely cumbersome. Couldn't get either of those methods to work :/

Thanks for trying though, I guess I'm just going to have to do this in a very roundabout way unfortunately.
