The Best Spinner Deleting Letters as I Type

Not sure if this is the right place to post this or not but I just got this software and while I was in the middle of spinning sentences it started to delete letters in front of where I was typing. I have no clue what I did but I'm sure its something small but I can't seem to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated!

Press the insert key on your keyboard then try typing again

That is a pretty derp moment but I can also admit to being confused by the insert key back in the day.
