The BEST proxy checking/testing software

like the title says, wondering what you guys consider the best software for testing lists of SOCKS4/5 proxies? I've tried proxyfire and charon and they both suck in their own unique ways. Proxyfire is very buggy and Charon is incredibly slow.

I just want something fast and threaded that I can paste a list of proxies into, and it return working ones. It should obviously be able to retry each one a number of times, too.

After toying with the threads settings on Charon i've got it running much faster, I had missed a setting. I still think it is inaccurate, though. Any ideas?

sorry plunge but the two programms you mention on your first post are THE BEST I've found after a long search.
I use charon atm with great results. I'm sure that if you spend more time on learning them you'll have great results
