The best life advice you received?

''Don't give a fuck, ever''
''If you want to do something, do it because you want to''
''trust nobody, always have your guard up no matter how good it may look''
''if you can control what you have inside your skull, you win!''
''if you don't want to regret something, don't take advice, nobody knows the situation better than you do, if you fail, you will learn something valuable."
''Don't spend money you don't have''

“Doesn’t matter if you aren’t rich financial, but have a rich heart”

I served the army and got many life changing advices, but I can sum them up to this sentences which pretty much says it all:

- "Every 100km journey begins with one small step" .
- "If you didn't breath road's dust you will never breath mountain's peak air".
- and as for friendship: "If you guys don't hang on each other you will be hanged next to each other".

So an advice would be to just follow these :) I heard them so many times during my service that I can't forget them. When starting a new venture I always think of the first one and just make the first step (bank loan? renting office? buying goods?), When times are hard and I think i'm stuck I think of the second one (Bank refuses loan? can't find an office? can't find good price for goods?) and whenever a friend asks for help, I always do my best to help him as for the 3rd sentence.
