thanks for the reply

mind to share why it is the best?
i was about to go with semrush but figure the price ie min. USD99/ month...
99.95 actually

Ahrefs & Cognitive.

Haven't used keyword planner for months after they stopped exact monthly searches. Before that also haven't used much.
Their competition analysis for advertiser uses so you can't find other ranking keywords with them.

I would go with semrush as long as you are asking for best keyword tool plus you are ready to pay for what worth.

Whie keyword planner never reveals what keywords their competitors rank
They never reveal which ad works and where for what keywords
Any other tools also pulls keyword planner data while using other more sources - guess this beats keyword planner in all ways.
They never reveal SEO competition (even this is not accurate with any tool but still worth than nothing )
and much more.

To me Ahrefs , SEmrush ,keysearch and all the things are much better than keyword planner and KWfinder (they also only pulls KWP data)

You can also use Keysearch since they pull some data from semrush it's the cheapest solution for sem rush.

Google keyword planner is my favourite , type in multiple keywords that you think are potential for your target post/page/website. Are you trying to do competitive keyword research? Then SEMRush or Ahrefs might be for you. Keywordtool.io is show the keywords for youtube ,bing etc . I prefer to do it manually, it is a more accurate way to search for keywords and get a better understanding.

For your question :

1. Semrush or Ahrefs
2. Keysearch

Wih combining above one of tools with Keyword researcher you can bring your research to next level.

Kwfinder is my selection, it will provide the comp. score for the keywords and search volume etc., so it would be easy with it to find the right keywords you like to rank.

I think keyword research tools like keywordtool.io and ubersuggest.com serves the same purpose, in the same effective way. It's just the UI that's different. That being said, I would prefer doing keyword research manually. Works like a charm.

And then there's the Keywords Planner by AdWords. It's great for figuring out both LSI keywords and popular exact phrases to build your page around with.

I'd suggest SEMRush for SEOs of every kind to do the basic and intermediate research and content outlining of every project, and then move on to manual keyword researching and stuff.

Good luck :)

openlinkprofiler if you are looking for competition analysis only. But still you need to rely on other software/tools like being mentioned above.

Google Keyword Planner is the best place to begin keyword research. Because it’s designed for advertising, but you can use it to research organic keywords by customizing your results for one of your competitors.

I like long tail pro. Used to use Google KW Planner, but they're not giving search volume information anyomre (yes, I know there's a workaround, but it's very cumbersome IMHO.)

I`ll go with SEMRUSH. And most of the Marketers that I know do take help from this tool. It quickly gives you Site Audit, Keyword Ranking and Backlink source which is very handy for everyone in Digital Marketing space. It is best to do basic research. It also helps you to get an insight on competitors present for your clients. I also prefer Google Adwords for Keyword research Purpose.

Best!

Google keyword planner is my choice.
It is one of the best keyword research tool in the market

Big fan of keysearch and semrush. Why to use one source if we can use multiple sources.
