i got 3 packages with them, 2 in the US, 1 in europe. i host over 30 websites with them. uptime - perfect, support - perfect, really the best hosting i have every used. ive been with them for over a year now.

my previous experience:
shared: dreamhost, justhost, bluehost, hostgator, 1and1, godaddy, hawkhost, geekhost, inmotionhosting, godaddy, ovh, hetzner

vps: linode(great for experienced users, still use it), wiredtree (good but expensive), vps.net, slicehost

dedicated: godaddy(sucks)

cloud: ec2, heroku

so given my experience i think you can trust me :) easilly the best hosting in terms of price/value

appreciate the recommendation, finding good hosting is becoming increasingly hard.

and i dont believe you can even waste 300 GB bandwidth without needing a vps/dedicated.

I've had some of my big sites with them for 2-3 years, and they're rock-solid, have good support and use FAST servers. I've done a lot of PHP run-time tests between hosts - and theirs servers seem to process a lot faster than most.
 
Have you guys never tried Hostwinds? it's the only true 'unlimitted' package out there, no inode limits and the like.
 
I use a dedicated box with leaseweb. I used to run my own shared webhosting company so i know how to configure and keep the box optimized, what is a big plus :).
 
OP, you are 100% right. I have got 5 accounts there. All are fast loading wordpress now because of stablehost. 10 times (at least) better than hostgator. And now giving 40% discount.

The first (and the only) company that I advice to my clients. I did not even mention about superior support.

Having 40 sites on one account. They are all OK. Having 3000UV on the smallest shared hosting account. It is more than OK actually even that tiny hosting account accommodates 15 other websites.

I just suggest every BH member to get an account from SH and see with his/her own eyes how it is.

I can confirm Stablehost is a strong hosting provider. And cheap. I paid about $40 for 1 year of unlimited hosting. But that's happened few months ago when they had a anniversary strong offer :D

All, all, all. Accept hostgator as a car of an old model breaking down sometimes. Stablehost is like a mercedes, 2012 model. :)

Im using stablehost as my 2ndary and its working fine. Only got 1 problem so far when some antivirus sites contacted them abt my sites ( which in reality were not anything suspicious) and they suspended me.

Other than that Really stable and working well
 
If you are looking for a coupan you can go for more reliable host ..Hostgator..:)
 
I will switch from Hostgator to StableHost. That doesn't mean I am unhappy there, HG and their support were greate. But StableHost looks better to me, first of all the price comparison.
 
Used Stablehost for over 2 years now, and had no unscheduled downtime. Sometimes their shared hosting can be slow as hell though, but everything else makes up for it.
