Could it be HostGator?

Or an offline host? (I don't want to get my site banned from host)

I will be hosting a huge torrent forum and want to have a reliable host that won't shut me down.

Probably a non-US, non-UK host. Netherlands, Sweden, Malaysia, Ukraine, Estonia etc. are recommended.

Well, I'd go with a Hong Kong hosting service because linking to Warez is LEGAL there, as long as you don't actually HOST any, which is the case for torrents, I believe.

Then again, mininova seems to be hosted in the Netherlands, according to a whois

1#: Why bother to start a torrent forum? That niche is already saturated
2#: Any private host will be cool about it, check thehostingpalace they seem to be good (and offshore)
3#: In Hong-Kong EVERYTHING is legal just because of the fact that if a company sents a takedown request almost none of those azian people understand it
