Hi everyone, is anyone here running TikTok ads successfully? Are there any effective cloaking methods for TikTok?

see that 50 bucks spend on your screen? thats classic tiktok. they approve the ad initially, but as soon as it gets a few clicks their secondry scan kicks in and kills delivery.

if you're using basic client redirects it's gonna keep dying at that same thrshold. you need server, side filtering with a dynamic safe page to pass that second bot check.

for the filtering setup test something like TrafficSaviour or keitaro with server integration. main thing is keeping your safe page topic aligned with the video creative so the bot doesn't flag a disconnect.

Indeed, delays in reviewing ads may be surprising. I would concentrate on ensuring that there is consstency in the creative and landing pages rather than trying to circumvent the platform checks

TikTok's secondary review is the real killer — dete nailed it. The initial approval means nothing. Their bot revisits ads after they start getting engagement, and if your safe page doesn't behave exactly like a real site (proper session handling, real content depth, organic-looking analytics), it gets flagged.
What I've seen work for gambling offers specifically:
1. Server-side cloaking is non-negotiable. Client-side redirects die within hours.
2. Your safe page needs to be a REAL functioning site — not just a template. TikTok's crawler checks page depth, load behavior, and even scrolls. A thin landing page with no internal links is an instant red flag.
3. Rotate domains aggressively. Don't get attached to one. Budget for 3-5 domains per campaign because once one gets flagged, the whole domain is burned.
4. Keep ad spend ramp-up slow. The $50 threshold ban is real — if you spike from $0 to $100/day immediately, you trigger the manual review queue. Ramp $10-15/day increments.
The economics still work if you manage all that, but the overhead is significantly higher than running push or pop traffic for the same vertical. It's a trade-off between higher quality traffic vs. operational complexity.
